I read with some interest what UKIP councillor David Sylvester ( a pretty ironic surname! ) said about the recent appalling weather.

“I wrote to David Cameron in April 2012 to warn him that disasters would accompany the passage of his same sex marriage Bill,” wrote David Silvester, who quit the Conservative party in protest at David Cameron’s decision to support same-sex marriage.

I sold my Les Paul recently, to a very nice chap called Doug Wiggins. It turns out that we share a good deal in common musically, specifically David Bowie and Mick Ronson. Doug urged me to listen to “Play Don’t Worry” again, Ronson’s second solo album. I love “Slaughter on 10th avenue” but I really couldn’t get my head round PDW at the time. Well I have to say I was expecting a lot from Ready to Die. The first thing made available on line from the album was “Burn” and James Williamson’s guitar is a monster, and the song hangs together good, a catchy little blighter. I think the download version is possibly a different mix to the album version. … Read more »
